High school, college, and professional football combine to rack up thousands of injuries every year. Many are preventable with pre-screening to identify musculoskeletal asymmetries and weaknesses.
As the Football Injuries Infographic below shows, most injuries occur at the joints and many can be career-ending and/or have lifelong implications. As with any health issue, prevention is key. And even when athletes willingly and knowingly participate in collision and impact sports, there are steps they can take to reduce thier risk of serious injury and to give themselves the best chance of a complete and rapid recovery when injuries do occur.
